If you’re going to be riding dirt bikes, technical dirt bike apparel is a necessity. They are designed to stand up to rips and tears, while also providing you with comfort and freedom of movement.
What do we look for in a kit? For starters, we look for gear made with moisture-wicking, breathable, abrasion-resistant materials. THOR’s Pulse Depths Kit checks this box, and boasts a few others features you won’t find on many other women’s kit: leather panels and a mesh liner.
When you’re riding, the insides of your knees make a lot of contact with the bike. The leather panels keep these areas from getting worn, and will help you, as the rider, grip the bike better.
The mesh liner—and mesh panels that will be inside your boots—will help to keep you cool and comfortable.
One last thing to note is that this kit features 4-way stretch fabric at the inner thighs and around the neck and cuffs of the jersey.
+ Product Details
The pulse jersey features four-way stretch panels in cuffs and collar. The pants feature an interior hip pocket, mesh liner, side expansion panels, full-grain leather knee panels, abrasion tolerant materials, double and triple stitching for durability, a ratchet style closure, adjustable hip side cinches and pre-curved Rapid-FlexTM knees for maximum comfort.
+ Fit Guide
THOR's Pulse Depths Kit is woman-specific and is available in sizes 4-14. The factory sizing is as follows:
- 3/4: 26" waist
- 5/6: 28" waist
- 7/8: 30" waist
- 9/10: 32" waist
- 11/12: 34" waist
- 13/14: 36" waist
For the best fit, we recommend using the waist measurements listed by the manufacturer and sizing UP. We find that this brands runs small, like junior sizes. These pants do have velcro waist adjustments, but you want to have enough room in the hips and knees to accommodate any protective gear.
Side note: the length of a dirt bike pant is often short. This is because they are designed so that they don’t bunch up in your motocross boots. So do not be concerned if they hang a little bit higher than your normal pants.
